The head of EU diplomacy also said that the European Union is closely following the next step of Belarus, which supports Russia's actions regarding the sovereignty of Ukraine.

Earlier, he said that the EU would impose sanctions against 351 State Duma deputies and 27 individuals and legal entities after Russia's decision to recognize the independence of the LPR and DPR.

At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin is not on the list of EU sanctions.
