Borrell: EU will impose sanctions against 351 State Duma deputies and 27 individuals and legal entities

His statement following an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers in Paris leads RIA Novosti. 

According to Borrell, an agreement has been reached among the 27 EU members on the package of sanctions he proposed.

“351 State Duma deputies who voted for such a decision will fall under these measures.

Also, these measures will affect another 27 individuals and organizations,” said the head of EU diplomacy.

Earlier, British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss signed the first package of sanctions against Russia after Moscow's decision to recognize the independence of the LPR and DPR.
