“I authorized the deployment of additional US forces and assets already deployed in Europe to strengthen our Baltic allies – Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania,” the US President said during his address on Ukraine.
He added that these were "defensive moves" by the United States.
According to him, the United States does not intend to fight with Russia.
Biden also said that Washington considers Russia's recent actions to be the beginning of an invasion of Ukraine.
