The mountain rescue was on site at Fulufjället National Park this summer, when they feared that many new, unfamiliar mountain visitors would come there.

An information investment that the organization will make again this year.

- We have just decided that and will actually be there earlier this year when the spring tourists come up to fish and then we will be there longer, says mountain rescuer Peter Karlsson.

Many new visitors even in winter

Although new visitors are mainly attracted to the mountains in summer, winter has also become more popular.

Therefore, mountain rescue in Sälen now sees the importance of also reaching winter tourists to a greater extent.

- It is a discussion we now have about how to reach them, says Peter Karlsson.

In the clip above, Peter Karlsson tells more about the mountain rescue's work to prevent accidents.
