There have been many marathons and other races over the years for Peppe Lindholm.
That the heart would stop the intense training came as a shock.
- You do not think about the heart.
It's just something that should work, he says.
Difficult to get help as an athlete
In 2019, Peppe Lindholm suffered from atrial fibrillation and underwent surgery.
Today, he still has problems with arrhythmias and nausea and has been locked around in care for three years to get the right help.
- I then noticed that there is not much for us athletes with heart problems, says Peppe Lindholm.
