Moldovan President Sandu condemned Russia's decision to recognize the LPR and DPR

“We strongly condemn [Russia’s] recognition of the separatist areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine,” she wrote on Twitter.

According to her, this is contrary to international law.

She also claims that Chisinau is firmly committed to supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders.

Earlier, Vladimir Olenchenko, a senior researcher at the Center for European Studies at IMEMO RAS, commented in an interview with RT on the decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin to recognize the DPR and LPR.
