Emirati cadres develop advanced military robots and technologies

The activities of the fifth edition of the Unmanned Systems Exhibition "UMEX" and the Simulation and Training Exhibition "Simtex" 2022 kicked off this morning at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center "ADNEC" and will continue until February 23, with wide international and local participation.

The two exhibitions witness the participation of 134 international and local exhibitors from 26 countries, where the proportion of new exhibitors is approximately 36%.

National companies participating in the two exhibitions presented their latest innovations in the manufacture of unmanned systems, simulation and training, in addition to artificial intelligence and robotics techniques, including unmanned aircraft, unmanned vehicles, and submarines without sailors.

During its participation in the UMEX and SimTEX 2022 exhibitions, Al Qudra presented the robotic firefighting robot. Mohammed bin Hadeel, CEO of Al Qudra Company, said that the robot is the ideal solution for fighting dangerous fires, and providing protection for firefighters from the danger of large fires, due to the robot's high capabilities in direct confrontation. It uses a first fire response system, which helps many firefighters to protect properties and prevent secondary explosions, and the robot is equipped with many specifications that depend on the customer’s desire.

The Etimad Industrial Company offered drones with different speeds, manufactured by national cadres, and at different heights, and used for moving air targets and military purposes, and developed according to the customer’s desire.

The activities of the current edition of the two events include live performances held in the Sweihan Hills area, and these shows are a qualitative platform to showcase unmanned aerial and ground systems and other artificial intelligence technologies and robots participating in the exhibition.
