“2.3 thousand refugees arrived at temporary accommodation points, all of them are accommodated in TACs, provided with basic necessities, hot meals,” the message on the website of the government of the Rostov region says.
In 24 hours, nine more trains were sent from the Rostov region to other Russian regions, which transported more than 7 thousand people.
Earlier it became known that over 21 thousand evacuated residents of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics crossed the Russian border in the Rostov region in a day.
The total number of refugees from the DPR and LPR in Russia exceeded 60 thousand people.
