This Monday around 8 a.m., a woman who was traveling on foot was hit by a TGV in the middle of the track, between the towns of Tonneins and Aiguillon, in Lot-et-Garonne.

Specialized teams and gendarmes were mobilized to intervene on the spot.

The exact circumstances of the tragedy are unknown.

Traffic was completely interrupted in both directions between Marmande and Agen.
