Today we are attracting great talents, and this is one of the main indicators that things are constantly improving, as the game today has become better, faster and stronger, and is attracting investments, and getting more coverage.”

On her part, Laura Combs said: “I joined the team three years ago, and what encouraged me to join is what I noticed of the club’s interest in the principle of inclusion, and the support provided to girls to play football, and what we see today is completely different from what we saw in the past, Manchester FC City really gives you a sense of the value of your time, as I receive the highest level of training and attention, they appreciate this game and are interested in making it a sport for both women and men, we all have the same goals, the same passion.”

Combs encouraged the amateur girls to play football with continuous training, advising the girls: "Follow your passion for football, and train wherever you can, in the garden or the club, and follow your dreams, and for sure you will achieve everything you wish for."

confidence and abilities

On her part, Esme Morgan expressed her happiness with Manchester City's confidence in her abilities.

She said: "The club took care of all the small details that allowed me to prove myself as a professional player, as the coaches trusted me to participate in the big matches, and every player needs an opportunity to prove his abilities in front of the big players, and this is what developed my skills."

She added, "I was fascinated by (Expo 2020 Dubai) and the messages it carries, from inclusivity to gender equality."

Morgan advised girls and women to pursue their goals, adding: "Do not give up on your dream, if someone says that you are unable to achieve it, but be up to the challenge and make sure that perseverance and belief in your abilities will be enough to lead you to your goal, no matter how difficult it is."

Invitation to give opportunity

The player Esme Morgan expressed her great admiration for the women's pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, explaining that it "sheds light on the past and life of women, the present and the future that awaits them, and also talks about the problems that they still face in achieving their ambitions, and for this I think that the most important problems facing Girls who want to play football, is not providing the same opportunity for everyone to access this sport, and I really hope that women from all over the world can realize their dreams, whatever they are, and find the means that facilitate this.”
