  According to Iran's Mehr news agency, Iranian lawmakers said in a public statement to Iranian President Raisi that negotiations in Vienna, the Austrian capital, have reached a critical moment, and unreliable Western countries such as the United States must ensure that they will not withdraw from Iran again. nuclear deal.

The statement accused the United States and three European countries of failing to keep any of their commitments over the past few years and using tactics to harm the interests of the Iranian people, even imposing sanctions on Iran's imports of medical drugs.

  The statement said that the United States and Europe must commit to the Iranian people to lift all sanctions imposed on Iran under "false pretexts" such as nuclear issues, support for terrorism, missile programs, and human rights.

The statement said that the United States and other relevant parties should take the lead in lifting sanctions on Iran, and Iran will fulfill its commitments after verifying the effect of the lifting of sanctions.

  In July 2015, Iran reached a nuclear deal with the United States, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany.

In May 2018, the U.S. government unilaterally withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal, and then restarted and added a series of sanctions against Iran.

Since May 2019, Iran has gradually suspended the implementation of some provisions of the Iran nuclear deal, but promised that the measures taken are "reversible".

  The parties involved in the Iran nuclear deal will start negotiations in Vienna in April 2021 to discuss the resumption of compliance between the United States and Iran, and the United States indirectly participates in the negotiations.
