China News Agency, Taipei, February 20. Taiwan's "epidemic command center" announced on the 20th that 70 new cases of new coronary pneumonia were added, including 4 local cases and 66 imported cases.
So far, the cumulative number of confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia in Taiwan has reached 20,007.
According to Taiwan media reports such as the Central News Agency, United News, Zhongshi News, etc., 4 new local confirmed cases are distributed in Taipei, New Taipei, Taoyuan, and Tainan. 2 of them are related to the recent religious group gathering case. A total of 30 cases were infected in the cluster; the other two were related to the Kaohsiung refinery cluster case and the Taoyuan airport cluster case.
On the same day, the newly imported confirmed cases came from Japan, the United States, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, etc., of which 12 were from Japan.
It is also reported that there are currently nine infection chains in Taiwan including Kaohsiung, New Taipei, Miaoli, Taoyuan and other places yet to be clarified.
As of now, of the 20,007 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia, there are 15,381 local cases and a total of 852 deaths.
