It has been a year since the minister in charge of the issue of loneliness and isolation was appointed.

The government plans to further strengthen measures, such as establishing a new framework for public-private partnerships, saying that the effects of the new corona have been prolonged and the problem has become more serious.

In order to comprehensively promote measures against the problems of loneliness and isolation, the government has set up a countermeasures office under the minister in charge assigned in February last year, and in December last year, concrete measures were taken. For the first time, we have decided on a priority plan that we have put together.

In the one year since the minister in charge was assigned, the government plans to further strengthen measures, saying that the impact of the new corona has been prolonged and the problem has become more serious.

Specifically, we will establish a new framework in which related ministries and agencies and private organizations will collaborate later this month so that NPOs and others can share information and make policy proposals.

In addition, we will deliver a video of the message of Minister Noda and others in order to be close to those who are suffering from loneliness and isolation, and we will solicit and introduce experiences that overcome loneliness and isolation.

Minister Noda says, "I want to broaden his awareness of loneliness and isolation and create a society where everyone can easily speak and accept."
