While his declaration of candidacy is expected in the coming days, these two supporters on the left allow Emmanuel Macron to tease and occupy the media field.

They also aim to relaunch

the famous "at the same time"

that the head of state has been touting to the French since 2017.

Because during the five-year term, many departures were made on the left wing of the majority, giving credence to the idea of a shift in his presidency to the right.

So before jumping into battle, the macronie wants to give the image of balance.

In reality, nothing surprising in the support of the former Minister of Justice, Elisabeth Guigou, or the former Minister of Health, Marisol Touraine.

Out of the political radar for several years, these two socialists had already shown themselves favorable to Emmanuel Macron.

Touraine during his failed candidacy for the 2017 legislative elections and Guigou during the 2019 Europeans.

Faced with "

a very strong far right

 ", the "

only useful vote

" is Macron, assured Marisol Touraine this weekend.

A way also to reaffirm the cleavage thanks to which the head of state intends to win his re-election.
