- There are several independent projects that we will run and there are investments of between 30 and 75 million per project, says Sanja Melivic, who works with the investment in Säffle for Green Sea Harvest.
Sanja Melivic calls it a "green hub" that provides an environmentally sustainable investment.
Fish cleaning becomes feed
She says that they will produce 500 tons of fish oil and around 700-800 tons of fishmeal that will be used for pet food, among other things.
And it is partly waste from salmon farming that is to be used, partly waste from other fish farms.
Säffle municipality has invested between 10 and 15 million in roads, water and sewage in the area.
Municipal councilor Dag Rogne (C) welcomes the initiative.
- We have high unemployment so we are happy that entrepreneurs are coming here and expanding industry in our municipality, he says.
The company expects to start construction of the fish cleaning factories at the end of the year or at the beginning of 2023.
