Xinhua News Agency, Nairobi, February 19 (Reporter Li Hualing Hash) Mogadishu news: Somali police said on the 19th that a bomb attack occurred in the northern port city of Bosaso on the same day, killing at least two people and injuring five others.

  Mogadishu Radio quoted the police as saying that at about 18:30 on the 19th, an improvised explosive device was detonated in a restaurant in Bossaso, causing several casualties.

  So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the bomb attack.

  Earlier in the day, a suicide bomber attacked a restaurant in the central Somali city of Beledweyne, killing at least 10 people and injuring 15 others, including a local social affairs official.

The extremist group Somali al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack.

  The Somali "Shabaab" is an extremist organization associated with the "Al Qaeda" organization. In recent years, it has launched several terrorist attacks in Somalia and its neighboring countries.
