As shelling continued in the Donbas (Donetsk, Lugansk Province) region, a disputed region in eastern Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued an urgent notice to the local residents of the evacuation.



The Ukrainian embassy has urgently notified Koreans who are staying in the country to evacuate as soon as possible due to the bombardment of the Donbas area.



As of yesterday (19th) at 6 pm, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has identified 68 Koreans residing in Ukraine.



Among them, 14 are missionaries, 5 are international students, and 49 are permanent residents and self-employed people.



Compared to the 341 people staying at the time of the 11th, it has decreased to one-seventh, and an additional 40 people are planning to leave the country in the future.



At the local embassy, ​​about 30 people who have expressed their intention to remain are persuading them to change their positions and move to a safe area such as Lviv or leave early.



The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has opened and is operating temporary offices in Lviv, Ukraine and Psemisil, Poland, since the 16th.
