Ships and submarines of the Northern and Black Sea Fleets launched Caliber cruise missiles and the Zirkon hypersonic missile, and the Sineva ballistic missile was also launched at the Kura range from the Barents Sea.

During the exercises at the Kapustin Yar training ground in the Astrakhan region, the Iskander ground-based cruise missile was launched.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched the planned exercises of the strategic deterrence forces with ballistic missile launches.

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that exercises and training launches of ballistic missiles take place regularly and should not cause concern to anyone.
