The president of the Popular Party, Pablo Casado, summoned the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, to a meeting that was held this Friday afternoon at the national headquarters.

This is the first rapprochement after the outbreak of the war between the two, which occurred on Thursday, with harsh cross accusations.
"The Popular Party regrets the events of recent days and will continue to defend, together with all the militants, the best future project for Spain," the PP sources point out.
The meeting took place after the main baron of the party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, demanded a quick solution so as not to have to go to an extraordinary congress.
And, above all, after Ayuso's team presented data on the charges of his brother, Tomás Díaz Ayuso, for mediating in the purchase of masks for the Community of Madrid.
If Genoa claimed that it had received 286,000 euros, the baroness's team reduced it to 55,850 euros and stated that it was not a commission, but payment for a provision of services.
During the afternoon of Friday, the national leadership of the PP remained silent in the face of these revelations.
Now it is known that it was because she preferred to arrange a private meeting with the Madrid president.
The meeting between Ayuso and Casado occurred at the same time that the barons were mobilizing to try to find a quick solution to the crisis.
