was withdrawing tanks deployed near the Ukrainian border and bombers in annexed Crimea
back to their garrisons, amid Western fears of an attack by Ukraine, AFP reports.
"Another military train carrying personnel and equipment belonging to Army units in the Western Military District has returned to its permanent bases," the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
A spokesman for the Russian fleet, quoted by the Interfax agency, announced the withdrawal of ten Su-24 bombers from Crimea.
