According to her, the US government believes that Russian hackers could carry out cyberattacks on the Ukrainian government, including military and other critical networks.
“We believe that the Russian authorities are responsible for large-scale attacks on Ukrainian banks this week,” TASS quoted her as saying.
On February 15, the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security of Ukraine reported attacks on the websites of the Ministry of Defense and the country's armed forces, as well as on the resources of PrivatBank and Oschadbank.
The Kremlin said that Russia was not involved in any DDoS attacks, including on Ukrainian government resources.
