Events A 22-year-old man was arrested for the death of a 14-year-old girl in Alcalá la Real, who appeared naked in the ruins of a church
Hakima Zeroil, the mother of the 14-year-old girl murdered in
Alcalá la Real (Jaén),
has asked for "justice" for her daughter.
She has done so after participating in the demonstration held in the town in rejection of this crime for which a 22-year-old young man has been arrested, who declared himself a confessed author of the death.
"I want justice for my girl, for Khawlita. Not only has she killed her, she has also killed me and her brother because we are three in the family," said the mother at the end of the demonstration called by the Federation of Women Growing Together.
Hakima has thanked for all the support received both from the City Council of Alcalá la Real, as well as from the Civil Guard and the citizens themselves.
"Thank you very much to all those who accompany me in this pain that I have," said the woman.
"He has taken away my heart and he has taken away my future and that of a girl because
a girl who is 14 years old cannot die like this
," said the mother, while showing her confidence in Spanish justice, a justice to which the mother's environment is already claiming the reviewable permanent prison for the confessed author.
Before the demonstration, the mother of the minor had been in the courts of Alcalá la Real where the alleged perpetrator of the crime
arrived at around 9:30 am
.
The young man, who has spent the last two days in the Jaén Comandancia, has arrived guarded by the agents and with the hood of his sweatshirt on to try to hide his face.
At the gates of the court a group of people have gathered who have also asked for justice for the deceased minor.
The head of the Court of First Instance and Instruction number 2 of Alcalá la Real has summoned friends of the victim to testify.
The confessed author will be the last to testify.
The body of the minor was found lifeless in the surroundings of the ruins of the church of Santo Domingo, in the grounds of the Fortaleza de la Mota, after the alleged perpetrator of the crime called 112 at 9:36 p.m. Tuesday to say that he had killed a woman.
Members of the Civil Guard as well as the
Local Police and Firefighters
traveled to the scene of the events .
The young man at no time collaborated in indicating where the minor's body was.
Finally, and after several raids, they found the body, which was located without clothing in a place that was difficult to access.
In the first visual inspection, the agents confirmed that there were no stab or gunshot wounds.
Subsequently, the autopsy indicated asphyxiation as the cause of death.
During the time in which he has been detained by the Civil Guard, the alleged perpetrator has not collaborated or given a statement to the agents in charge of the investigation, so we will have to wait to see if he agrees to testify before the judge.
