Earlier, the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, in an address to the residents of the republic, said that in connection with the dangerous situation in the Donbass, the departure of the population to Russia had been organized since February 18.

The head of the LPR, Leonid Pasechnik, called on the civilian population of the republic to leave for Russia as soon as possible amid the aggravation of the situation in the Donbass.

The Ministry of Education of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People's Republic announced the evacuation of all orphanages and boarding schools to Russia.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic announced the planned evacuation of about 700 thousand people from the republic.
