The Generalitat begins to verify how

Pedro Sánchez

is premeditatedly slowing down his transfer policy towards Catalonia after the legislature was put on track after the approval of the General State Budgets and the labor reform, which was not endorsed by the ERC and opened a crack in the relationship of trust between the Government and the Generalitat.

The cooling has been revealed this Friday, during the bilateral meeting between the central and regional administrations, which has ended with minor transfers related to the transfer of some state buildings to the Generalitat and the management of university scholarships.

The result has not at all satisfied a Government that has come out with few fruits to put in its mouth and continues to wait for Sánchez to agree to set a date for the next installment of the negotiating table on the "conflict" that he promised to convene at the beginning of year.

“Progress has been timid.

We need more important results", declared the Minister of the Presidency and right-hand man of

Pere Aragonès

,

Laura Vilagrà

, in charge of leading the Catalan delegation, in which representatives of Junts were also present, such as the Minister of the Economy,

Jaume Giró

, or the vice-president of the Government,

Jordi Puigneró

.

Vilagrà has been critical, but has avoided blowing up the incipient understanding with the Government, aware as he is that Sánchez now controls the timing of the relationship with the Generalitat.

Much clearer has been Puigneró, taking advantage of the fact that his party does not maintain any type of link with the Government since it was excluded from the negotiating table by Aragonès himself.

“Progress has been scant, insignificant and too slow.

Catalonia is still not a priority for the PSOE.

If Sánchez took Catalonia seriously, he would put the management of the airport, Cercanías or the highways on the table.

This would show that the State Government takes Catalonia as a priority, ”said

Carles Puigdemont

's favorite in the Govern.

Very different perception of what happened -it could be said that diametrically opposed- has transferred the spokeswoman for the Executive.

“We have reached a historic agreement.

It is an unprecedented fact to advance in the sphere of competence of Catalonia after a decade.

Just for that already very relevant.

We have made progress in self-government", said

Isabel Rodríguez

, for whom this transfer of university scholarships or ownership of real estate such as that of the Barcelona Civil Registry is contributing to the "recovery of normalcy and affection" that Sánchez promised after approve the pardon of the separatist prisoners as the starting point of their "agenda for reunion".

The call for the next meeting of the negotiating table on the "conflict" -the forum in which secessionism is truly interested- has not been addressed in the practically sterile technical meeting held this Friday at the Palau de la Generalitat, but the Government spokesman has taken for granted that "in weeks" Sánchez will announce the date of the conclave, which has not met since September, when the President of the Government and the Government agreed to negotiate "without deadlines."

Less conclusive has been the spokeswoman for the central Executive, who has avoided venturing if the table will meet again before Easter.

Sánchez does not seem to be feeling the pressure, who since the end of last year has not stopped receiving direct questions from Aragonès to reach "tangible" agreements on self-determination and amnesty for those accused of promoting the

procés

.

Without going any further, last Monday, on the anniversary of the Catalan elections on 14-F, the president of the Generalitat went directly to the threat and warned the president of the Government that he will not have his support to continue in La Moncloa after the next general elections if it does not make a proposal that allows progress towards holding an independence referendum.

Aragonès admitted that the dialogue is "blocked" and called on separatism to activate "all pressure mechanisms" to force Sánchez to sit at the table.
