Putin instructed the acting head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to fly to the Rostov region to organize assistance to refugees

This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov. 

According to him, the refugees will be provided with hot meals and everything necessary, including medical care.

Earlier, the head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, Denis Pushilin, in an address to the residents of the DPR, said that in connection with the dangerous situation in the Donbass, the departure of the population to Russia had been organized since February 18.

Also, the head of the self-proclaimed LPR, Leonid Pasechnik, called on the civilian population of the republic to leave for Russia as soon as possible amid the aggravation of the situation in the Donbass.

After that, the Ministry of Education of the LPR announced the evacuation of all orphanages and boarding schools to Russia.
