Putin calls up citizens in the "reserve" list of the Russian army

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree calling up reservists from Russian citizens for military training, according to Sputnik.

"Invitation to citizens of Russia who are in the reserve (list) for the year 2022 to undergo military training in the Russian Armed Forces, state security agencies and agencies of the Federal Security Services," reads the document, which was published on the official portal of legal information on the Internet.

The document added: “In addition, the Council of Ministers and the executive authorities of the Russian regions were directed to ensure the implementation of procedures related to inviting citizens to training camps, and holding these training camps (specified in the document).
