Lukashenko noted that the Belarusian and Russian economies were actively developing in 2021 both in terms of GDP and industrial production.

Earlier it was reported that the trade turnover between Belarus and the Krasnodar Territory amounted to $330 million in 2021.

The volume of trade between the Nizhny Novgorod Region and Belarus in January-September 2021 increased by 1.5 times compared to the same period in 2020 and reached $854.7 million.

In June, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia Dmitry Volvach at a meeting of the inter-parliamentary commission on inter-regional cooperation between Russia and Belarus spoke about the trade turnover between the countries.
