Wang Dawei, deputy director of the Hohhot Center for Disease Control and Prevention, introduced that from 15:00 on February 17, Hohhot organized nucleic acid testing in key areas.
As of 14:00 on February 18, a total of 37 confirmed cases of local new coronary pneumonia have been reported in Hohhot, including 11 in Xincheng District, 1 in Huimin District, 3 in Yuquan District, 7 in Saihan District, and 5 in Tuzuo Banner. , 10 cases in Wuchuan County; the vast majority of the cumulative reported confirmed cases were found in the nucleic acid tests of quarantine control personnel.
According to the official report, the above-mentioned confirmed cases were all treated in isolation at the Fourth Hospital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. After consultation with experts, 11 cases were common, 25 were mild, and 1 was severe.
As of 14:00 on February 18, 2022, a total of 1,631 close contacts and 989 second-close contacts have been investigated for this round of the epidemic, and all isolation and control measures have been implemented.
