“Over the past few days, we have seen reports of a significant increase in cases of ceasefire violations by Russian-backed forces that are trying to provoke Ukraine in the Donbass,” he said.
Earlier, a high-ranking State Department official said that the United States is considering reports of evacuations and explosions in the Donbass as a pretext for launching a “false flag” operation against Ukraine.
State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky "is provoking the start of a big war."
Volodin stressed that Russia does not want war.
According to him, if there is a threat to the lives of Russian citizens and compatriots living in the self-proclaimed DPR and LPR, then Moscow will stand up for them.
