“The Chelyabinsk region is ready to accept refugees from the DPR and LPR.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia has been notified of the readiness of the region,” the statement said.
The press service specified that the region is ready to accept 500 families and about 100 children without parental care.
Earlier, the manager of the sanatorium, Daria Vykhodtseva, said that the Zvezda sanatorium in the Rostov region is ready to accept up to 400 refugees from Donbass.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic announced the planned evacuation of about 700 thousand people from the republic.
