According to him, the leaders of the countries "will meet, say what they think is necessary, hear each other and understand whether it makes sense to meet in six months and continue the conversation."
“Presidents can leave the meeting and say: “In the next 5-10 years, nothing will work out, this is the situation, not with us, with other generations, but for now we are trying to bury the hatchet so that our states develop on different planets, although we live on the same Earth," Zelensky added.
He stressed that "this is also a good result for Ukraine, because the worst thing is to live in uncertainty."
Earlier, the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, confirmed Zelensky's readiness for negotiations with Putin.
The press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov commented on the possibility of a meeting between Zelensky and Putin.
