Two intruders stuck in a gondola in the middle of the night in Chamonix

The men of the High Mountain Gendarmerie Platoon (PGHM) in Chamonix (Haute-Savoie) had to carry out an unusual intervention overnight from Sunday to Monday.

Two Swedish tourists have indeed entered the Planpraz gondola, out of sight, reports

The duo rescued without incident

The device was on to allow trackers to do their job.

The two men therefore took the gondola… before finding themselves stuck when the machine was stopped.

Trapped above the void, the intruders were forced to call for help.

They immediately alerted the PGHM.

The soldiers managed to get the duo down safely.

Safe and sound, the two Swedish Jean-Claude Dusse were entitled to a reframing in good standing by the gendarmes.

But no complaint has been filed and vacationers will not be prosecuted.
