The MP noted that she considers the initiative "very reasonable."

“There are regions in which the number of orphanages is rapidly declining, there are subjects in which orphanages have been closed altogether, but in other regions they still exist.

There are children who are still waiting for their parents.

Probably, the state should give adults the opportunity to go to meet their unborn child in another region, ”Stenyakina said.

She added that such an initiative could be the next step in the state's actions "to return children to their families."

Earlier, State Duma deputy Yevgeny Fedorov proposed introducing a 50% discount on rail and air tickets for potential parents during the adoption procedure.

The parliamentarian noted that they are often forced to visit other regions, which leads to significant transport and accommodation costs.
