Earlier, the Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case on the discovery of mass graves of civilians in the territory of Donbass.
It is noted that in August-October 2021, five spontaneous mass graves were discovered on the territory of Donbass.
According to the agency, the remains of at least 295 civilians who died as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian military in 2014 were exhumed.
