Saudi Arabia: There is no truth to studying the issue of reducing working days

The Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development revealed the truth of what was circulated in the media about the ministry's intention to study the issue of reducing working days, as it confirmed that this is not true.

The ministry indicated in a statement that "what the ministry is studying is the labor system, which is a periodic review of the regulations in force, with the aim of increasing job creation and raising the market's attractiveness for local and international investments."

The statement added: "Noting that the draft work system has previously been presented on a public opinion poll platform as part of the procedures adopted in systems studies, and we call on all media outlets to investigate accuracy in transmitting and publishing information."
