China News Service, Beijing, February 17 (Ren Jing) On the 17th, the Ministry of Education held a press conference to introduce the relevant situation of the "Measures for the Appointment and Management of Vice Principals of Law in Primary and Secondary Schools".

The "Measures" stipulate that the vice-principal of the rule of law refers to the person recommended or appointed by the people's court, the people's procuratorate, the public security organ, and the judicial administrative department, and hired by the education administrative department or the school, who concurrently holds the post of vice-principal in the school and assists in carrying out relevant work.

  The "Measures" require every primary and secondary school to have at least one vice-principal of the rule of law, and give priority to the provision of a vice-principal of the rule of law for schools in remote areas, rural areas and weak urban schools.

At the same time, the "Measures" make targeted provisions on tenure and renewal, to solve problems such as imbalanced staffing, untimely appointments, and frequent turnover.
