The flagging has caused anxious residents to contact the municipal management.
Östra Göinge municipality is now taking action and buying the entire property.
It is "the decline and has contributed to insecurity in the village", the municipality writes on its website.
- There has been an escalation in the last three weeks.
The police are here often and many think it is good, but it is a sign that it is not good, says Patric Åberg (M), chairman of the municipal board in Östra Göinge.
The property will be demolished
He explains that the municipality's strategy is to buy dilapidated and / or empty properties to increase the municipality's attractiveness.
- Östra Göinge's villages must be welcoming, safe and sustainable.
The property in question will be demolished.
The goal is for the work to start immediately when the municipality has access on 1 June.
- We are working to renovate the center in Broby, with a new bus square and new apartments.
This property has become a haunt and will be removed, says Patric Åberg.
The property owner tells SVT Nyheter Skåne that he is satisfied with the deal.
