Genoa accuses Ayuso of corruption and blames his chief of staff: "Miguel Ángel has crashed the plane"

The national leadership of the PP maintains that it has received information, to which it grants "veracity" but of which it has no documentary support, which would consist in the fact that the brother of the Madrid president would have acted as an intermediary in obtaining a contract of 1, 5 million euros, awarded for the emergency procedure -without competition-, to a company that supplied masks to the Ministry of Health.

For this mediation,

would have received, according to the accusation promoted by Génova, a commission of

company would have declared to the Treasury through model 347 -suppliers-.

Sources from the Madrid Executive respond that they have "news" of these events, and argue that Ayuso's brother "has been working as a health service provider for 26 years."

In this context, EL MUNDO has revealed that a detective warned Ayuso that he was asked to spy on his family from a municipal company of the Madrid City Council.

The assignment he received sought to obtain tax and banking data from the brother of the president of the Community of Madrid.

Given the information received by the national leadership of the PP about this contract in which Ayuso's brother was an intermediary, the general secretary of the PP, Teodoro García Egea, held a meeting in early October 2021 with the Madrid leader whom he called to ask him for explanations for "supposed favor treatment of his brother".

According to the Genoa version, the president of the Community of Madrid would have responded by defending the legality of her brother's contract with the winning company and summoned her party to speak with her brother.

But the answer was that they wanted to check with the "papers" that everything was "legal"

, headquarters of the Community of Madrid, in that meeting García Egea would have used that alleged information to corner Ayuso and demand that he withdraw from the race to preside over the Madrid PP, for which he maintains a hard political confrontation with Pablo Casado.

After that meeting, sources from Genoa affirm that Ayuso would have initiated a strategy of harassment towards the national leadership that included the blocking of some PP leaders on WhatsApp, such as the secretary general of the formation himself, as well as redoubling the pressure on Casado to demand the call "as soon as possible" of the congress of the Madrid PP.

The national leadership of the PP openly accuses Ayuso's chief of staff,

, of having concocted "a montage" of alleged espionage on Ayuso to divert attention from a "corruption case": "Miguel Ángel has crashed the plane " and "is destroying the party".

Since then, sources from Genoa say, Rodríguez would have set "the machinery in motion" to accuse the PP's national leadership of setting up a "gestapillo" and some "creams", referring to cases of espionage in the past within the Madrid PP at the right hand of

and friendly fire to destroy the political career of

But these "creams", these sources say, "exist", although they do not have documentary evidence and, therefore, they have not gone to the Prosecutor's Office.

Meanwhile, the Madrid Executive feels "stunned" by the fact that its own party is placing "apocryphal rumours" with "the aim of kicking out Isabel Díaz Ayuso".

In a first assessment, the Madrid president has said in the Madrid Assembly that "they can look at everything they want" but that they will not find "anything".

"One and the other, as they have not been able to go against me, they have not been able to finish me off no matter how hard they try and they are making me pay to have 65 seats now, since they cannot achieve it by attacking me, they are going against the most important thing that a person, which is his family", he said.

In the midst of this crusade war,

has demanded a "precise explanation" about the alleged espionage on Ayuso.

"The news has content that is so extravagant, so surprising, that it requires an explanation," said the president of Galicia and one of the main barons of the PP.

In an interview on Onda Cero, he lamented that these kinds of issues are "quite unpleasant" and he was blunt in saying that "it certainly deserves an explanation and not a trivial explanation, but a precise explanation".
