Economist Sorokina recommended that pensioners quit at the end of the month to receive additional payments

“If a pensioner quits on February 28, indexation of his pension will be made in June, and the calculation of the additional payment will be made from March,” Sorokina gave an example in an interview with the Prime agency.

According to her, employers submit a report on employees to the Pension Fund of Russia at the end of each calendar month by the 15th day.

Earlier, Andrey Girinsky, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Economics at RUDN University, named a way to increase the amount of payments to Russians who continue to work in retirement.
