A 28-year-old technician dies electrocuted near Manosque

A 28-year-old young man died Wednesday morning in Sainte-Tulle, near Manosque (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence).

This employee of an Orange subcontractor, based in La Seyne-sur-Mer (Var), was working on a construction site when the accident occurred, indicates

The technician was handling a metal pole with two other agents, near a high voltage line.

Two other colleagues injured

Emergency services were unable to resuscitate the worker.

One of his colleagues, aged 35, was seriously injured and the third only slightly.

The two men were transferred to Manosque hospital.

An investigation has been opened by the Digne-les-Bains prosecutor's office.

It was entrusted to the gendarmerie of Manosque and to the labor inspection services.
