An Indian man who nearly got hit by an oncoming train survived in a short drive.

On the 16th local time, foreign media such as Indian Express reported that a dizzying accident occurred at Allahabad Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh, India on the 12th.

According to reports, motorcyclist A entered a train crossing without seeing a train rushing at high speed.

Mr. A looked around only after halfway through the crossing.

When he turned around, the train was already approaching his nose.

At a moment's notice, Mr. A abandoned his motorcycle and quickly threw himself out of the track.

As soon as Mr. A escaped, the train crushed the motorcycle and passed by at great speed.

It happened in just three seconds.

Mr. A, who barely survived the accident, limped and escaped the scene.

He was wounded by shattered motorcycle shrapnel, but his life is not known to be jeopardized.

Indian media reporter Midday shared a CCTV video of the situation on social media, and the video went viral online.

Netizens responded, "I almost died after leaving a few minutes earlier", "If I had avoided it a little later, it would have led to a major accident", "I'm glad that another train didn't come from the other side", etc.

In India, similar train accidents are repeated because there are no announcements or information bars at train stations.

According to the National Crime Records Bureau of India (NCRB), there were 13,018 train accidents across India in 2020.

Although it has decreased by nearly half compared to the previous year (27,987 cases) due to COVID-19 lockdown, it is still at a high level.

It was found that about 70% of all train accidents occurred when boarding and disembarking passengers crossed the railroad crossing.

Uttar Pradesh, where the accident occurred, is ranked as the region with the highest number of train accidents after Maharashtra.
