Earlier, the British publications The Sun and The Mirror, citing American intelligence data, wrote that the “invasion of Ukraine” was allegedly scheduled for 03:00 local time on February 16. 

Commenting on this information, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov suggested that Ukrainians set alarms and see for themselves that such statements are false.

The Sun later edited the material, noting that "the night passed without incident."
