The Vietnamese government has announced that it will lift the ban on the restricted acceptance of foreign tourists from overseas in principle from the 15th of next month due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection.

The Vietnamese government has restricted the acceptance of tourists from overseas in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, but announced on the 16th that the ban will be lifted in principle from the 15th of next month.

According to the announcement, the conditions for entry are that vaccination with the new coronavirus has been completed and that the PCR test performed within 72 hours before departure is negative.

In addition, the visa exemption measures that were implemented for Japan and other countries before the spread of infection will be specifically examined in the future.

At the beginning of the spread of the infection, Vietnam took strict measures such as introducing restrictions on going out all over the country, but in response to the great economic downturn, from October last year, it changed to a policy of easing economic activities.

Since November, we have been conducting trial efforts to accept tourists from overseas on tours that limit the places we visit.

In Vietnam, the spread of the infection has not stopped since the number of newly infected people per day exceeded 30,000 for the first time on the 15th, but this time, by launching a policy to fully accept tourists, the economy will be prioritized. It is a form that shows the posture again.
