The lifeless body recovered between Meaux and Nanteuil-lès-Meaux (Seine-et-Marne) on February 4 was autopsied and identified,

Two months ago, a man surrendered to the police, claiming to have suffocated his wife before throwing her into the water.
He would then have continued his activities normally, before denouncing himself to the authorities.
Since then, an investigation has been opened and an investigating judge has been seized.
The man was remanded in custody.
The body of the victim had been discovered by firefighters divers, during an exercise in the Marne.
