Spain investigates 68 cases of child rape in a place of worship

The Spanish Public Prosecutor's Office announced that it had received information about dozens of sexual crimes committed by men of a place of worship against minors, and the Spanish Public Prosecutor is investigating 68 cases.

At the end of last January, the Prosecutor's Office asked chief prosecutors in 17 autonomous regions to send all cases of sexual harassment of minors in religious schools, churches and other religious institutions within 10 days.

The office issued a list of the data it received, which amounted to 68 cases that are being investigated by the prosecution or have already been submitted to the courts.
