Saudi Arabia is considering implementing a 4-day work week system

Saudi Minister of Human Resources Ahmed Al-Rajhi announced that the Kingdom is currently studying reducing the working days per week to 4 working days and 3 days off.

Al-Rajhi explained, during a press conference, that the aim of the new work system is for the Kingdom to be attractive to investors and the job market.

Al-Rajhi said during the periodic conference for government communication: "The labor system is a system that is being studied now, and the goal of this system is to make the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia attractive to investors."

He added: Today, as we are concerned with the number of working hours and days, we are concerned that the market is attractive to investors and creates jobs.

He continued: "Today, we are keen that the new system will be attractive to jobs and create jobs, thus creating more opportunities that help employ our children.
