Investigative Committee began checking on the fact of poisoning people with an unknown substance on a ship in Sakhalin

“The Sakhalin Investigation Department for Transport of the Eastern Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Russian Investigative Committee is conducting a procedural check on a report circulated in the media about the poisoning of citizens with toxic fumes on a ship located near the Nevelsk seaport,” the report says.

Earlier, TASS, citing a source, reported that 10 Russian sailors were poisoned on a dry cargo ship off the coast of Sakhalin, they were hospitalized.

According to updated information, after examination by doctors, four people remained in the hospital, six refused hospitalization.
