A man was seriously injured by a commercial vehicle on Tuesday afternoon in Luzarches (Val-d'Oise).

The victim was standing by the open door when the driver started rolling and forced the man to let go.

The latter fell to the ground and was crushed by the motorist, who immediately fled, says

The gendarmes were still looking for him Tuesday evening.

A dispute still unexplained

An investigation has been initiated.

It showed that the pedestrian and the driver were in the middle of an argument at the time of the tragedy, around 4 p.m.

The reasons for their disagreement have not yet been determined.

The two men are said to be clandestine workers.

The 28-year-old victim was taken care of on the spot by the firefighters and the Samu before being transported to the Beaujon hospital in Clichy (Hauts-de-Seine).

She was in absolute emergency at the time of her evacuation.
