Liberation Chairman Kim Won-woong, who has been accused of embezzlement of profits, announced his voluntary resignation today (16th).
In a statement sent to the press today, Chairman Kim said, "I bow my head and apologize for hurting the pride of the members and the honor of the Liberation Association."
He continued, "I didn't know how to see people, and it was my fault that this kind of unfortunate happened due to poor supervision and management."
With this, Chairman Kim will resign in disgrace after two years and eight months since taking office in June 2019.
