The Vaucluse gendarmes announced this Sunday on Facebook that they had carried out two “anti-narcotics operations”.

The first took place in Sorgues and allowed the surveillance and intervention platoon of the Gendarmerie (PSIG) of Avignon to arrest a drug dealer.

The soldiers said they found on him "22 bars of cannabis, eight vials of cocaine and 135 euros".

The second arrest was made by the PSIG of Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt.

It also concerns an individual marketing narcotics.

The gendarmes seized 1,150 euros as well as blotters of LSD, heroin and several tens of grams of cannabis.

The two people arrested were taken into custody, the police said in their publication.

The suspects are expected to appear in court soon.

The gendarmes of Vaucluse accompanied their publication on Facebook with two photos showing the objects and the goods seized during the operations.
